Technical equipment
There’s a world of electricity in the new Centre, with a total of 10 megawatts installed. Some key data give an idea of the size of the installation: over 354,000 metres of electrical cable, 243,500 metres of structured cabling for signage and 7,350 lighting fixtures by Siteco-Siemens, iGuzzini, Bega, Artemide and Halotech. The Centre is entirely cabled and ensures trade members the very latest technology.The air-conditioning system is also particularly innovative: at night it produces ice (when energy costs a lot less), then uses the "ice bank" to condition the air during the day.
 
Other Services
In the new expo complex, food service has an equally high profile, with local gastronomic specialities and international cuisine. The central hall hosts a Business Restaurant (with a capacity of 120), a VIP Restaurant (seating 120) and a 800-capacity Self Service which, as well as having a large indoor room, also has an outdoor area overlooking a water garden. There’s a total of 20 eateries between bars and restaurants.
 
Access
Rimini is ideally situated in Central Italy, on the Adriatic coast, in a position easily reached by a very top transport network. The new Rimini Expo Centre can be quickly reached from the town’s two exits on the A14 motorway: "Rimini Nord" (for those arriving from Milan), "Rimini Sud" (for people arriving from Ancona), from the Adriatica trunk road from both the north and south (arriving from Ravenna or Ancona) and from the centre of Rimini, which is approximately 15 minute’s drive away.
